Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too rich?? We used the beef pill pockets for years as a training treat (LITTLE bits rolled into balls) and LOVED them but our sheepdog appears to have developed allergies to corn and chicken. Switched to duck and pea. 1) the product smells just awful...like duck that has gone bad. 2) they appear to be TOO rich or something. If I give even two little balls during training, within 2 hours she is vomiting. Went and bought a new bag and same thing happened. Time to find another training treat :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good treat but smell terrible! These treats are great for getting pills down, but the smell is just terrible.  I almost vomit in my mouth every time I open the bag.  Dogs love them though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my sanity I adopted a beagle puppy who was rescued from a "not" reputable breeder! We love her dearly. But her health went south fast! First severe allergies then seizures! We got the right meds for both conditions and she is thriving. But it required us to give her 3 caps in the morning and 2 in the evening. She hated this. I decided to try greenies soft covers. The more solid ones other brands make would not work for her small mouth, she chews any large of firm object. They saved my sanity and turned the daily pill routine from terrible to something she looks forward to as a treat!.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Has it changed? Did the recipe change recently? I had a bag I was using on my cat (yeah, I know they are for dogs, but she can't eat chicken), and she used to gobble her pills right down. I just got a new bag and she won't touch them, barely takes a sniff and goes. These used to be perfect, especially with an allergy pet, now they are just a waste of money and I'm having to go back to pilling her.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Allergy ridden bully I have heard from my vets office that you are discontinuing the DUCK/PEA formula. Is this true and why? It is the only one my bully can take because of his allergies. PLEASE don't discontinue!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't buy the allergy formula unless needed... Greenies pill pockets are amazing and the only way I can get my dog to take her pills, but the allergy formula treats are not the same as the original formula pill pockets. The allergy pill pockets are difficult to mold around the pill(s) and fall apart easily. Also they are probably one of the worst smells ever! Stick with the original formula unless your dog specifically needs the allergy formula.
