Rated 1 out of 5 by from I thought there was a manufacturing mistake The last 6 bags I purchased have apparently been the "new formula"' however the last 3 smell like peanut butter. No indication on the package of a formula change. Even the picture on the bag looks like what I am used to, but the product is dark brown. I could have sworn the first 3 bags were beef. I thought there had been a mishap on the manufacturing line and I am not all together sure that is not what happened. My concern is that what is in the package is not what I think I am purchasing. Probably like most pet parents who purchase the duck and pea formula, I do so because I have a pet that is sensitive to certain ingredients and I don't think I am getting a product that is made from the ingredients listed. Please confirm that this is a "new" formula and not a mistake or let me know that I need to be cautious and stop using the duck and pea pill pockets.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back old formula The old formula was much better . My dog loves them. Now she is starting to have problems with her ears again. Same meds, new pill pocket formula. Has to be the pill pocket.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Please give us option to buy old formula! I agree with others. Yes the old ones were smelly but my elderly dogs loved them and it made giving them their multiple pills 2x a day so much easier. This new formula is dry, they break up and fall all over the floor and my dogs don't like them as much. Please please please bring back the old formula for those of us who loved it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WORKS GREAT WITH MY DOG TAKING 3 PILLS A DAY, 2 OF THOSE TWICE A DAY FOR THYROID AND HIM HAVING FOOD SENSITIVITIES, THESE WORK GREAT AND HE LOVES THEM. ITS GOOD TO KNOW THERE IS AN OPTION FOR DOGS LIKE MINE. I WISH I COULD BUT THEM IN A BIGGER BAG INSTEAD OF THE 2.6 OZ.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bring back the old formula As noted in other reviews - the new formula which results in a dark, dry, pill pocket does not work! The previous formula which was light tan and moist did have quite an odor but they worked great - Please bring back the old formula !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What’s Up? The pill pockets have changed. They used to be a light golden color. Now they are a dark brown. My cat used to gobble them down. He won’t touch the dark brown ones. I checked the expiration date and they are not expired. Before this change I was very happy with the pill packets. I Avoided the stress have actually having to pill him. He ate the pill pockets like treats. I used the dogs pill pockets for the cat and broke them up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please bring back the old formula! I've used these treats with my cat for years (she doesn't like the cat formulas). She will not touch this since you've changed the recipe to add liquid smoke. Please offer the original formula, too, or go back to the old recipe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes, they stink! We were thrilled to find the grain-free product, however, when my son first opened a package, he checked his shoes to see if he's stepped in something. But the fur babies love them, and any effort to give them medication *without* a Greenies® Pill Pocket results in dirty looks and no success. Just keep in mind what your Adopted Canine American sniffs all day, and you will realize our opinion as to what "stinks" is not important. Getting your allergy-prone baby to safely take their allergy medication is, however.
