Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bring back the old formula As noted in other reviews - the new formula which results in a dark, dry, pill pocket does not work! The previous formula which was light tan and moist did have quite an odor but they worked great - Please bring back the old formula !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What’s Up? The pill pockets have changed. They used to be a light golden color. Now they are a dark brown. My cat used to gobble them down. He won’t touch the dark brown ones. I checked the expiration date and they are not expired. Before this change I was very happy with the pill packets. I Avoided the stress have actually having to pill him. He ate the pill pockets like treats. I used the dogs pill pockets for the cat and broke them up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please bring back the old formula! I've used these treats with my cat for years (she doesn't like the cat formulas). She will not touch this since you've changed the recipe to add liquid smoke. Please offer the original formula, too, or go back to the old recipe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes, they stink! We were thrilled to find the grain-free product, however, when my son first opened a package, he checked his shoes to see if he's stepped in something. But the fur babies love them, and any effort to give them medication *without* a Greenies® Pill Pocket results in dirty looks and no success. Just keep in mind what your Adopted Canine American sniffs all day, and you will realize our opinion as to what "stinks" is not important. Getting your allergy-prone baby to safely take their allergy medication is, however.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The smell is AWFUL! I opened the package and thought I was going to throw up. It smells like the ingredients have gone "bad". Unfortunately my cat knocked the brand new bag off the counter and him and the dog proceeded to eat the whole bag. They then threw up multiple times each, all over the house, and I had to clean up vomit that smelled like rotten meat. I have not been able to find any information on whether it's dangerous for them to have eaten so many -- no warnings or anything -- so I assume they will be fine after they are done vomiting!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too rich?? We used the beef pill pockets for years as a training treat (LITTLE bits rolled into balls) and LOVED them but our sheepdog appears to have developed allergies to corn and chicken. Switched to duck and pea. 1) the product smells just awful...like duck that has gone bad. 2) they appear to be TOO rich or something. If I give even two little balls during training, within 2 hours she is vomiting. Went and bought a new bag and same thing happened. Time to find another training treat :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good treat but smell terrible! These treats are great for getting pills down, but the smell is just terrible.  I almost vomit in my mouth every time I open the bag.  Dogs love them though!
