Take the stress and the mess out of giving your cat medicine: #1 Vet Recommended choice for giving pills* FELINE GREENIES™ PILL POCKETS Treats for Cats in Tuna & Cheese Flavor easily hide medicine from your cat in a tasty wrap treat. These cat treats are made with natural ingredients plus trace nutrients for a healthy alternative to using human foods to disguise your kitty’s meds. The delectable tuna & cheese flavor helps mask the taste and smell, so your furball will never know the difference. Just drop your cat’s medication into the pouch, pinch it closed, and share with your cat. Just like that, the treat (and medicine) disappears. When it comes to taking meds, your cat is smart. But you’re smarter… because you’ve got FELINE GREENIES™ PILL POCKETS.

5 Tips for Keeping Your Cat Happy and Healthy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Please consider a catnip flavor I have two cats on daily meds. One will take the Pill Pockets one will not. The one that won't love catnip flavored treats. How about a Pill Pocket in a catnip flavor?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but please consider more flavors! I have overall had success with both Chicken and Salmon pill pockets but my cat got tired of both and then wouldn’t touch them. I then had good success with the newly discovered tuna flavor but now he is tiring of that as well. Since cats are notoriously so picky I wish you’d make even more flavors to switch between so they can have the variety! Dog varieties always have som many more options than cats :( Also as others have noted, sometimes halfway through a bag they start to become less strong smelling for some reason and lose moisture even when I’m very careful to ensure the bag is sealed. Consider adding more/stronger flavor/scent?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these (for my little 8 lb dog:) My little 8 lb dog is now on anti-seizure medication three times a day for the rest of her life. When we began, peanut butter was so cool and then she was sick of it. I was struggling to get her to take the pill 3x's a day (peanut butter on her face, peanut butter all over me, it was a mess). Enter the greenies. She loves the greenies and they are small, I agree, but I have to crush her pill into a powder anyways so I just smush it all up. I considered getting the dog ones but they were just so big it seemed more appropriate to her size to get the cat ones. I do notice that sometimes they are more dry than other times but I make do and put a literal drop of water in it while I mush it up and that seems to help. Overall, love them. For the reviews above needing bigger ones, I wonder if they could take the dog ones instead? Maybe check to be sure but it would be a fix for them!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from What happened? These were great until recently. They are smaller and don’t have as much smell to them. My cat won’t eat them anymore ☹️

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cat only wants to eat pill pockets! I recently started giving my cat 1 pill pocket/day to take his atenelol and now he doesn't want to eat anything but pill pockets! He won't eat his regular food (that he has previously been eating for 6 years). I tried giving him wet food too with no luck. Has anyone else had this experience? Do you know of a food that is similar in texture to pill pockets? Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't Work With All Medicines, But When They Do. I've used it and had mixed results. I've learned it's not the product, it's the pills in question. Some pills (a certain cat diarrhea medicine come to mind) are simply so bad tasting, and the taste and smell so strong, even pill pockets don't work. Last night, with the help of an emergency vet tech, I used them with a cat steroid pill (prednisone 5mg cut in half), and they worked as advertised. If you have to give your cat a medicine, give these a shot first. Don't be afraid to try the different flavors, and if you need two use them! At least if they don't work, you will know you tried, and you can go to different methods as a backup. Keep in mind there isn't a one size fits all solution, and this is just a tool of many you should have in your pet tool bag in dealing with your fuzzy loved one.
