GREENIES® SHOW US YOUR DOG'S HEALTHY SMILE PHOTO CONTEST

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. CONTEST BEGINS AT MIDNIGHT (12:00:00AM) ET ON 4/26/10 & ENDS AT 11:59:59PM ET ON 6/18/10. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59:59PM ET ON 6/18/10.

HOW TO ENTER: Complete official entry form available at www.greenies.com ("Contest Site"), including a photo featuring your dog's healthy smile (your "Photo"). Photos may be in color or black and white and must be no more than 1024 x 768 pixels and 0.5 MB in size and must be in .jpeg, .jpgs or .gifs format. ENTRIES (INCLUDING PHOTOS) MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59:59 PM ET ON 6/18/10.No illegible, incomplete, forged or altered entries or Photos will be accepted. LIMIT: one (1) entry per dog and person. Entrant must be legal owner of dog featured in the Photo. If additional entries are received per dog and per person, then only the entry received earliest will be judged. All entries, including Photos, become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Photos (i) may not have been previously published or won any other prize/award, (ii) must be the exclusive original work of the entrant, true and verifiable, (iii) must be in keeping with the Sponsor's image, (iv) may not be inappropriate, offensive, libelous or defamatory, pornographic, sexually explicit, unlawful or plagiarized, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion, (v) must not be harassing, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, profane, obscene, excessively violent, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable or offensive in any way, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, (vi) may not violate or encourage others to violate any applicable law, statute, ordinance or regulation, (vii) may not defame or invade publicity rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any person's personal or property rights or any other third party right, (vii) may not contain commercial/corporate advertising, including but not limited to corporate logos, brand names and slogans, other than those relating to the GREENIES® Brand, and (ix) may not include any virus, worm, corrupt file, Trojan horse or other forms of corruptive code or content that may harm or compromise the Contest Site and/or the proper conduct of the Contest. By submitting entry including Photo), entrant represents that: (a) he/she has the unrestricted right to submit the Photo and (b) the Photo does not infringe upon any third party's proprietary or other right. By entering, entrant grants to Sponsor and its designees a worldwide, non-exclusive, sub-licensable (through multiple tiers), transferable, fully paid-up, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable right to use, reproduce, distribute (through multiple tiers), create derivative works of, publicly perform, publicly display, digitally perform, make, have made, sell, offer for sale and import the entry (including the Photo) in any media now known or hereafter developed, for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without further approval by or payment to entrant.
PUBLIC VOTING: The Photos will be posted on the Contest Site between Noon ET on 4/27/10 and 11:59:59 PM ET on 6/18/10 (the "Voting Period"). Throughout the Voting Period, an eligible individual (as described in Rule 5) can view the Photos on the Contest Site and follow the on-screen instructions to cast a vote for the Photo that he/she determines depicts the dog with the healthiest smile (a "Vote"). VOTE LIMIT: one (1) Vote per email address per day during the Voting Period.
SELECTION OF FINALISTS AND WINNER: The ten (10) eligible Photos that receive the most Votes during the Voting Period will be designated as finalists, subject to verification of eligibility (the "Finalists"). The winner will be selected from among the Finalists on or about 7/1/10 by a panel of independent judges, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to Winner selection. The judges will score the Finalists' Photos on the basis of appearance of dog's teeth and gums (80%) and photo composition (20%). The winner will be notified by email on or about 7/5/10 using the email address provided on the official entry form.
PRIZES: One (1) First Prize: A one-year supply of Canine GREENIES® Dental Chews (awarded as twenty-four (24) 12oz. packages of GREENIES® Dental Chews), a one year subscription to The Bark magazine, a photo shoot for winner and his/her dog with a professional photographer who will travel to the winner's residence between 7/5/10 and 7/18/10 (all photo shoot details to be determined by Sponsor) and twenty (20) Canine GREENIES® Dental Chews Treat Packs for the veterinarian named by winner on winner's official entry form. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of First Prize: $3,179. One (1) Second Prize: a three's month supply of Canine GREENIES® Dental Chews (awarded as six (6) 12oz. packages of GREENIES® Dental Chews) for winner and twenty (20) Canine GREENIES® Dental Chews Treat Packs for the veterinarian named by winner on winner's official entry form. ARV of Second Prize: $416. Eight (8) Third Prizes: a 27 oz. tub of Canine GREENIES® Dental Chews and twenty (20) Canine GREENIES® Dental Chews Treat Packs for the veterinarian named by winner on winner's official entry form. ARV of Third Prize: $347 each. Prizes will be awarded (assuming sufficient number of entries). Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. No other substitution or transfer of prizes permitted. Sponsor is responsible only for prize delivery; not responsible for prizes utility or otherwise. Taxes and fees, if any, are the sole responsibility of winner.
ELIGIBILITY: Contest: Open to individual legal residents of 50 U.S. & D.C. who are age of majority or older in states of residence as of 4/26/10, except employees (and their immediate families and members of the same household) of Sponsor and its affiliates, agents, judges and advertising and promotion agencies. Voting: open to individual legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, age 13 or older in their states of residence as of 4/26/10; employees (and their immediate families and members of the same household) of Sponsor and its affiliates, agents, judges and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to vote.
VERIFICATION OF WINNERS AND DELIVERY OF PRIZE: Each winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and, where permitted, a publicity release. Prize may be forfeited if prize notification email is returned as undeliverable, if affidavit is not returned within 14 days after mailing to winner or if prize is returned as undeliverable. Each winner agrees to use of his/her and his/her dog's name, address, likeness and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law.
GENERAL: This Contest is void outside the United States and where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. This Contest will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Delaware. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Contest must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States of America. Sponsor and judge not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed, postage due, incorrect or misdirected entries, Votes, mail or communications; for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices or transmission lines or data corruption; theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials; loss or otherwise. Further, Sponsor and judge are not responsible for electronic communications which are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail messages. Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with, this Contest, and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this Contest should any virus, bug, technical failures, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor's control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Contest. In the event of any such cancellation, termination or suspension, a notice will be posted and the winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received prior to such time. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant from this Contest or any other promotion conducted now or in the future by Sponsor or any of its affiliates if his/her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of the Contest. By participating in this Contest, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judge and warrants that he/she is eligible to participate in this Contest. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release Sponsor and its directors, employees, officers, and agents, including without limitation, its advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activity. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
